Blood was found at the scene but it excluded me, no finger print match, and I was compensated from crime victims for my own roadside shooting that occurred on the same night, hours later, in a different location.

Crime of Conviction
Aggravated Robbery and Felon in Possession of a Weapon

Year of Conviction
2014

W.J. was convicted and sentenced to 40 years in prison after a jury trial. The robbery occurred miles away from where W.J. was and involved multiple aspects that he claims disqualify him from being the robber. The person robbed says W.J. was not the robber, there was no fingerprint match, and the identification involved the robber running, an activity W.J. was unable to do. Furthermore, the prosecution argues that the lack of gunpowder was due to him washing his hands, yet he claims that his hands were immediately placed in bags.
