I was railroaded. The truth was never told in that courtroom.

Crime of Conviction
Murder

Year of Conviction
2005

G.K. alleges that he is innocent and that his conviction was a result of ineffective assistance of counsel in many instances. He claims that his first attorney was threatened by the prosecutor's office and replaced without consent. He also alleges that his next attorney coerced him to sign a document consenting to the appointment of his trial attorney, who he alleges made little effort to contact witnesses that he provided and submit necessary evidence.

Procedural issues

Post-conviction, G.K. filed a motion for a new trial and separate motions to appoint a pathologist and investigator. He also filed a Petition for Discretionary Review. He then filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (later amended), Motion for Rehearing En Banc, and Motion for Evidentiary Hearing. He also filed a Motion for Reconsideration.
